How we earn

We don't sell anything. So the money has to come from somewhere else — and it is written here from where, without further ado.

Affiliate, in Slovak

If you find a link to a store on the website and buy online, the store will pay us a commission. The store pays the commission, not you. The price for you is the same as if you went direct — you don't pay a surcharge for coming from here.

It's the same model used by price comparison sites. The difference is that we write it here on a separate page and not in the footer in small print.

What it means for what you read

This is the part that most websites skip. The affiliate model has a built-in conflict of interest: the more expensive you buy, the higher the commission. It's a real pressure, and it would be dishonest to pretend we're immune to it.

What we do about it:

• We also write what is not worthwhile. If a higher weight is unnecessary in a specific situation, it is written in the article — even if a more expensive piece would mean a higher commission.
• Articles are created independently of the offer. The text about what can withstand washing does not change depending on what the partner has in stock.
• A link that cannot be tracked will not be displayed. It sounds like a technical detail, but it's an insurance policy for you too: we have no reason to hide links elsewhere when we know about them.

What we don't do

• We don't take money for a better rating. The place in the article cannot be bought.
• We do not write paid articles without tags. If such a thing were to arise, it would be marked.
• We do not fake our own tests. We don't test anything and we don't claim it anywhere.

Current status

As of the date of publication of this page we have no approved partner and there are no affiliate links on the site. So we don't earn anything yet. This page exists to make it clear how it will work when a partner is added — not to explain it after the fact.
